Please call us at 800-260-1181 to tell us what you would like us to make, and we will tell you what to send, where to send it, and in what size. Or use our Contact Us link, and tell us what you would like us to make, and we will give you a quote with all the directions as to where to ship your wood, and what size is needed for your new switch plate covers. There is no additional price if the wood is sent to us exactly as we suggest and in the correct size. Read below for the wood requirements needed. We manufacture the USA Electrical Standard Decora or GF opening of 1-5/16" wide, by 2-5/8" High, so please make sure of your measurements before we start.

Wood requirements for us to manufacture for you

1. You will need a min. 48" long by 6" inches wide.

2. Your wood must be a minimum of 3/4 thick by 6" wide, and if it is 1" by 6" wide, that is even better to make sure the wood switch plates are completely stable.

FYI: All the wood we stock is 7/8 to 1" thick and we resaw it and get 2 boards.

3. You need to place a confirmed order or a quote order, WE WILL TELL YOU HOW MANY BOARD FEET WE WILL NEED TO MANUFACTURE YOUR ORDER.

4. Once we know what you need us to make, we will call you and give you all the information, and we will also send you an email to the email address you supplied with your order. Also, we will send the addresses where to send the wood, and we have two wood shops that we have set up in the USA, one for switch plates with screws, and one with only screwless, so see the addresses below.

Countryside Woodcraft

This is the size of the USA Standard Decora opening size which we have been making for years.

Recently some companies have made much larger Decora Switches, Rockers, Dimmers, and Duplex Decora Receptacles.

They force you into buying and using their plastic switch plate covers.

We can make the opening to fit these larger sizes, but there is an extra charge for these new sizes from Hubbell, Lutron, Leviton, and others.

So please check your measurements, and we need to know if you are using some of these larger devices before we start to manufacture your wooden switch plate covers
