Our Return Policy, terms and ordering info
For over 25 years, Arnev Products, Inc. has been known for high-quality switch plates and all other accessories for our excellent customer service.
We feel confident that you will be pleased with your purchase and the service you receive. However, if you are not completely satisfied, you may return or exchange most items within 30 days of receipt. However, there is a restocking fee. We will be happy to send you a replacement at our expense if we sent you the incorrect items.
If you ordered incorrectly, we will waive the restocking fee and refund the entire order less the shipping if you order the correct item.
If you choose to not reorder, we will refund the purchase price, less the shipping and restocking charge.
Products and/or orders returned, that our staff has determined to be damaged when out of the control of Arnev Products, Inc, or are in unsellable condition, will be returned to the customer, at the customer's expense.
There will be restocking fees of 15% on most all of our products ordered due to the cost of repackaging or responding and with all the paperwork for inventory control restocking. THERE IS A 20% RESTOCKING FEE ON ALL GLASS PRODUCTS, ALSO DUE TO THE DIFFICULT REPACKAGING AND INVENTORY RESTOCKING NEEDED.
About Discounted Orders with a discount coupon: Please note that all discounted products with a discount coupon are not returnable or refundable, unless defective!
Also please have these insured for the value of the content as these are glass, so wrap them up in the same manner they arrived.
Wooden switch plates are all custom-made to order, and if there is a problem we will correct the problem or manufacture them once again. There are no returns on any custom unfinished wooden switch plates, custom AV floor boxes, all custom designed switch plates and finishes, enameled design switch plate covers, custom cabinet hardware and accessories, custom North Woods animals, and designed switch plates unless authorized by management, sorry! So please read our size chart here /sizes-cust care-faq.html to make sure these will fit properly. Also, make sure you have ordered the correct edge profile, screw color, metal backing or not metal backing, and grain direction and it does take up to 14 business days to manufacture these custom hand-made switch plate products.
Floor Box products and covers are not returnable or refundable if past 30 days of the delivery date, and a 20% restocking fee will apply on all Floor Boxes, floor box covers, and floor box accessories that are returned for a refund. A refund will be applied after they are returned to the manufacturer and inspected.
For your information, all Floor Boxes & custom finished floor box Covers, Custom wood switch plate covers, or 38 custom-finished switch plate covers and not refundable.
Laminate finished receptacles and switches, and accessories are not refundable if past 30 days of the delivery date, but we may give store credit if returned after the 30 days of delivery, depending on the products and the time frame of no more than 90 days of receipt of the products. We will not refund orders over 30 days unless authorized by the management.
You must contact Arnev Products Customer Service at 800-260-1181 to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. No credits will be issued for items returned without an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization.)
We request that if you are uncertain about a finish, we may be able to supply a finish sample chip for you, or you can purchase a sample chip of most of our finishes.
No credit will be given on custom finishes or custom-finished metal
switch plate products, even if ordered incorrectly.
Once a custom finish is applied to an unfinished wood switch plate, custom cabinet hardware, laminate finished receptacles and switches, and custom finished floor box covers, there is no way to correct this or to return these items to our vendors for an Arnev company credit. Thank you for your understanding.
EXCEPTIONS: No restocking fee for defective or damaged merchandise, or if you were sent products differently than the ones on your order form.
DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, or INCORRECT ITEMS
All defective, damaged or incorrect items will be replaced at NO CHARGE
If you ordered incorrectly when you call, a new order will be processed and we will ask for your credit card, as we do not keep that information, and you will be charged again. Credit will be given once the item is returned, with less shipping and restocking fee after inspection by our staff for no defects. All shipping is the customer's responsibility.
OTHER: Some of the items not listed above are shipped directly from the manufacturer and may be covered under a separate manufacturer warranty and return policy. However, you must call Arnev Products Customer Service to receive clarification (800-260-1181). At that time, we must get a return number from the manufacturer before they will accept an order, and you will be given the address where to send the products for return.
Items must be returned in a BOX with appropriate padding. No padded envelopes will be accepted.
