Our Return Policy, terms and ordering info

Switchplates Ordering Information:

Regardless of your method of payment, you can order switchplates and
switchplates from Arnev.com with our Secure shopping cart service.

Secure Credit Card Ordering:
You can order our switch plates in confidence with our integrated secure credit card authorization system. Some people are uncomfortable about transmitting their credit card number over the internet because of concerns about security. We believe that sending your information over the Net is no greater risk than letting your card out of your sight in a restaurant or store. This is why we have chosen X-Cart for our online shopping cart service. X-Cart's powerful secure server using Secure Socket Layer (SSL encryption) is ONLY used for ordering information. All ordering information (including credit card number) is routed to this secured server for maximum protection. No one at Arnev Products, Inc. ever sees your credit card number.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, Google Checkout and PayPal. We process all credit cards through our secured shopping cart. We also have a secure credit card processing system with Authorizenet, and use our secured credit card server X-Cart processing software. We must get BOTH authorization and address verification in order to process your order. Please be sure that the Billing Address listed when paying by credit card is the same one on file with the credit card company (where your bill is sent). If it is not the same, this will delay your order for our light switchplates, as we cannot process it until the correct information is received. However, they can be shipped to a different address just by filling out the “Deliver To” section on our order form. We will contact you if we have a problem. Your credit card is not charged until the order is confirmed and shipped. This is our policy!  However, if you prefer not to send your credit card number over the Net, please feel free to take advantage of these other payment options:

Mail-in orders:
We also accept cashier's checks, money orders, and personal or company checks for our switch plates. However we will not begin preparing your order until we have received the payment. In the case of a personal or company check, your order will not be sent until the check has cleared. This generally delays the order by about two weeks. We do charge a $25 fee for bounced or NFS checks.

Phone Orders:
If you prefer to phone in and order, you may call us Monday-Friday, 8:00AM – 4:00PM CST at 800-260-1181. We are generally in the office these hours, but may not be available to answer the phone if we are taking care of customers, or involved in manufacturing of our light switchplates. You may leave a detailed message, and we will return your call as soon as we are free.

It is preferred that you place your order online, as all your information will be quickly and correctly entered and you will be able to track your order progress. If you have a question, please email us at arnev@frontiernet.net. We check our email throughout the day and can generally get right back to you. If you have a more complicated question about light switch plates, and you would prefer discussing them on the phone, you may certainly call us.

Return Policy
For over 20 years, Arnev Products, Inc. has been known for high quality switchplates and excellent customer service. We feel confidant that you will be pleased with your purchase and the service you receive. However, if you are not completely satisfied, you may return or exchange any item within 30 days of receipt.  However, there will be restocking fees of 20-30% depending on what the product ordered is.  
 
For you information, all floor boxes are a 30% restocking fee, as we do not manufacture these items and this is what the manufacturer charges us for a return.  We think this is very high, but there is not much else we can do about these charges, sorry!

1.  Contact Arnev Products Customer Service at 800-260-1181 to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.  No credits will be issued for items returned without an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization.)

2.   All returns not covered in our warranty will incur a 20% or 30% restocking fee.     
      20% restocking fee for in stock merchandise. 
      30% restocking fee for all custom painted finishes, or custom unfinished wood products. 
                   
There is NO RETURN of wood plates that are stained or have poly finish.  Bare wood only.
No credit will be given on custom finished glass products, even if ordered incorrectly. 
Once  the custom finish is applied to a glass switchplate, there is no way to correct this or refinish the product.  Thank you for your understanding.
EXCEPTIONS:  No restocking fee for defective or damaged merchandise, or if you were sent products different than the ones on your order form.
DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED or INCORRECT ITEMS
All defective, damaged or incorrect items will be replaced at NO CHARGE
IF YOU ORDERED INCORRECTLY
If you ordered incorrectly, when you call, a new order will be processed and your credit card will be charged again.  Credit will be given, less shipping and restocking fee, when incorrect parts are returned.  All shipping is your responsibility.  OTHER:  Some of the items not listed above are shipped direct from the manufacturer and may be covered under a separate manufacturer warranty and return policy. However, you must call Arnev Products Customer Service to receive clarification (800-260-1181).

3.  PLEASE THROW AWAY LOOSE SCREWS, AS THEY COULD DAMAGE THE PRODUCTS
IN THE RETURN.
4.  Items must be returned in a BOX with appropriate padding.   No padded envelopes will be accepted.

6.  The return must be insured for the value of the contents.

     this procedure.  Please allow two weeks to process a return.
