These switch plate covers are slightly larger but not jumbo-sized. A slightly larger size usually will cover up bad drywall cuts around the electrical receptacle box openings, whereas a standard-size light switchplate may not. Also, this is to cover up any old paint lines or wallpaper lines. These wall plates have the same high shine as white subway tile. These are made of a heavy .042 gauge metal, very sturdy. The Punched Border design is neutral yet it adds a bit more character than a plain white builder-grade plastic switch plate. These high-quality light switch covers - outlet covers are available in 53 configurations. Beautiful accessories for your home from Arnev Products, Inc. THIS PRODUCT MADE IN THE USA

All our switchplates are referred to as a mid-sized part. They are a bit larger than the standard size, but not oversized. Having them a bit larger usually covers up any irregularities that could have occurred when the drywall was cut for the electrical box openings, which does occur quite often. Also, this would cover up any outlines, or paint or wallpaper color differences left by the old light switch cover. However, they are not so oversized that they don't fit into the spaces usually allotted for the standard sizes.
Our switchplates can be flipped up-side-down to fit your particular electrical configuration. Let's say you have a combination style, with the switches on one side, and the outlets on the other side. You can just flip the part over, and this works great in all cases.
