A slightly larger size usually will cover up bad drywall cuts around the electrical receptacle box openings, whereas a standard-size light switchplate may not. Also, this is to cover up any old paint lines or wallpaper lines. These are made of a heavy .042 gauge metal, very sturdy. Available in 3 sizes, single-double-triple gang all in mid-sized switch plate cover sizes and pre-primed and ready to paint, delivered in Matte Black or Gray primer finish. These Paintable Metal Switch covers have a very smooth finish and will complement any kitchen, bath, or any part of your home for many years to come. Paintable Metal Wallplates come in three sizes of switchplate covers.....single size, double size, and triple size.
