Easy Installation
When your outlet and light switch covers have arrived, it's time to begin the installation. Installing your covers is easy. Arnev products include mounting hardware when they are shipped. Each outlet or light switch cover comes with the screws needed to affix them to the wall. Installation instructions vary a little between the different types of light switch covers. Even if you have a rocker or dimmer light switch, you should be able to install the light switch plates and covers easily.

First, shut off all power to the electrical switch. Then remove the old cover. a cover is attached to the wall with two screws. Unscrew each screw carefully using a screwdriver and pull the old cover away from the wall.

Then, line up the new light switch cover so that the screw holes meet up with the ones on the wall. Most covers should fit easily over the existing electrical housing. If yours doesn't, make sure it is the right configuration for your type of light switch.

Finally, place a screw in one of the holes and screw it in with a screwdriver. Follow the same step for the second screw. The light switch cover should fit flat against the wall when installed correctly.
