This outdoor floor box is only available for a concrete or paver floor. The OB-1-SP-6PORT is an Outdoor floor box for Comm./Data with a stainless cover: Push Button Open; Fully IP66 rated waterproof floor receptacle box (when in closed position). Includes wrench for inside wire connections. Great for pool decks, patios, and outdoor kitchens.

Key Features: While you are enjoying the sunshine, you can plug in any device you can imagine! This outdoor floor box is only available for Concrete, not designed for wood floors, sorry.

Stainless Steel #316: increases general corrosion resistance, improves resistance to pitting from chloride ion solutions, and provides increased strength at elevated temperatures.

This is what is currently issued on the AP-OB-1 series:

IP66 rating when the box is closed (waterproof).

IP66 rating when the box is opened partially (when the lid pops open there is a catch to it.) This is so someone cannot stick their hand fully into the box if there is water present in the box from leaving it open.
