About Arnev Products, Inc.
Arnev Products, Inc. sells wall plates for switch and outlet locations in homes and offices. You can shop for light switch plates, outlet covers, and switch plate covers for many different configurations right here. Homeowners, contractors, and property managers use our light switch covers during remodel work and homeowners often use our products to replace worn wall plates and keep device areas looking nice.
We suggest using a matching set across rooms to keep walls consistent with cover switches, outlets, data ports, and unused wall openings using coordinated plates. Choose a plate that fits your wall box and device cutout. Arnev products help your walls look finished after upgrades and repairs.
Decorative Switch Plates That Complete the Room
Old switch plates can spoil a newly painted wall. At Arnev Products, Inc., we sell decorative switch plates made as mid-sized parts. That extra coverage can hide drywall cut irregularities and old paint or wallpaper lines around the wall opening.
After painting or changing lights, the wall plate area shows the old outline. Swapping light switch covers and outlet covers helps the wall look finished again. Many Arnev switch plate covers are slightly larger, so they can cover bad drywall cuts near the electrical box opening. Shop finishes and styles that match the look you already have in the room.
Pick one style for the room, then use it on every wall. That keeps switch and outlet spots looking planned instead of mixed. A matched set of light switch plates keeps the wall detail consistent near doors and mirrors. Use decorative switch plates as a small upgrade that makes a big difference.
A Matching Look for the Whole Wall
A wall looks better when every plate follows one finish choice. When switch plates and outlet covers mix finishes, the wall line looks messy. We group finishes so you can keep the same tone across rooms. That helps you update one room now and another later.
Match switch plates and outlet covers
Pick one finish family, then use it across switches and outlets. Our finish groups show up across toggle, duplex, rocker, and combination plates. Multi-gang plates follow the same finish families, so long walls stay consistent. Matching plate groups also reduce mixed finishes around switches and outlets.
- Finish family: one finish line repeats across common plate types.
- Multi-gang support: the same finish families carry into multi-gang plates.
- Painted and enamel: these finishes repeat across many device openings.
- Care: gentle wiping keeps the finish looking the same.
After painting, new lights, or new outlets, replace plates. Matching stops a random mix of plates and colors. The wall looks consistent, with tidy edges around each device.
Match multi-device wall plates
Busy switch areas look cleaner when every opening shares one finish family. Our finish groups appear across mixed layouts, so one finish can cover a whole wall section. If you have a plate that combines switches and outlets, keep the same finish on that plate too. Matching plates help tie the room together and give a polished look.
We include matching screws, so the hardware does not clash with the plate. We also offer plates with no visible screws in our line. If you need several switches in one spot, choose a multi-gang plate from the same finish family. That keeps the switch area looking ordered when you walk past it.
Choose a Switch Plate Covers Look That Fits Your Space
Start with the room theme you already see on the walls. Our switch plate covers come in many colors, prints, brushed finishes, and wood grains. You can also choose decorative themes like southwestern, colonial, rustic, oceanic, contemporary, and classic.
Look at the biggest surfaces first, like cabinets, tile, and trim. If the room has calm colors, pick a quieter plate color. If the room has bold accents, use a stronger finish or themed plate. Keep one look in the room so the wall details stay consistent.
Match your room style
Modern rooms pair well with contemporary plates and clean finishes. Classic rooms match colonial and traditional styles with softer details. Rustic rooms work well with nature and wildlife themes, plus country-style designs. For a themed room, pick one theme and repeat it across the walls.
Use wall plate designs as small accents near doors and mirrors. Keep the style choice tied to the room theme.
Match your finishes
Match plate finishes to the finishes you already own. Our metal plates come in many custom finishes, including bronze, gold, pewter, rust, black, satin, verdigris, copper, and more. Glass wall plates also give a clean look, and we offer beveled glass, acrylic, gray glass, and frosted glass.
Check door hardware, faucets, and cabinet handles before choosing a finish. Pick one finish family for the room so switches and outlets stay consistent. If you mix too many finishes, the wall plates grab attention.
Decorative Switch Plate Covers by Style
Style affects how a wall looks around switches and outlets. Decorative switch plate covers help tie plates to paint, trim, and hardware. Pick one style for a room and stay with it, so the wall detail looks planned.
In our product list you will find modern, classic, rustic, and themed designs. These styles also carry across switch plates and outlet covers, so the wall stays consistent. Decorative themes include options like rustic, colonial, contemporary, and oceanic, along with many other designs.
Modern : Choose modern when the room uses flat cabinets and clean lines. Smooth plates keep the wall detail quiet. This style works well in contemporary collections on our site.
Classic: Classic styles fit older trim and familiar room shapes. Look for softer lines and small borders. Our classic and colonial options support this look.
Rustic: Rustic plates match warm wood tones and textured walls. They pair well with country and wildlife themes. Rustic styles on our site suit cabins and entry rooms.
Themed: Themed plates show a design, not just a finish. Pick one theme and repeat it in one room. Oceanic, southwestern, and wildlife themes are available on our site.
Light Switch Plates by Material
Material affects shine, texture, and cleaning on your wall. We make painted finished plates from cold roll steel, then powder paint them in ovens for a scratch-resistant finish. We also offer real glass (about 3/16 thick), acrylic (about 1/8 thick), simulated stone made from powder resin and baked, and unfinished wood in many wood types.
Metal
Metal plates work well near entry doors and stairs. Our painted finished plates use .042 cold roll steel and baked powder paint. That build helps resist scratches during years of use. You will also see metal finish options like stainless steel and brushed nickel.
Glass
Pick glass when you want a sharp, crisp wall detail. We sell mirrored, clear, frosted, and gray glass switch plates. Each one uses real glass, about 3/16 thick. Wipe the surface with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints. Glass works best where hands do not bump the plate.
Acrylic
Acrylic works when you want a clean look with less weight. We make acrylic switch plates in clear and mirrored finishes. Acrylic plates are made in the USA and about 1/8 thick. Use acrylic on bright walls where you want a smooth face.
Wood
Wood plates add warmth near trim and walls. They suit cabins, farmhouses, and bedrooms well. Use wood in home offices with desks and bookcases. We also offer 84 standard configurations in that unfinished wood line. Sanding and staining lets you match trim, shelves, or flooring. Wood works well in rooms with warm paint and wood furniture.
Stone-look
Stone-look plates add texture without using real stone. Our products simulated stone switch plates in the USA from powder resin. The baked finish gives a stone feel on the wall. Use stone-look plates where you want a textured accent near paint or tile.
Painted Metal Switch Plate Covers for Everyday Durability
Painted metal switch plate covers work well on walls people touch. They take bumps from bags, vacuums, and chair scrapes. Homeowners buy them for entryways, kids rooms, and laundry rooms.
- Scratch marks: Painted finish hides small scuffs near switches.
- Dents: Metal stays flat after bumps from backpacks.
- Cleaning: Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry.
- Color match: Choose a color close to your wall paint.
These covers keep the wall edge neat around each switch box. Landlords and property managers use them during rental changeovers. If drywall chips, metal covers hide rough spots better.
Painted plates resist rust in damp utility rooms indoors. Put them near doors, stairs, closets, and garages. Order a few extras for quick swaps after deep cleaning. They help busy walls stay neat in everyday use.
Glass and Acrylic Light Switch Covers
Glass light switch covers add shine near mirrors, tile, and bright paint. Choose mirrored glass, clear glass with no green edges, or frosted real glass. We also sell gray real glass switch plates while supplies last for projects. Acrylic mirrored switch plates come in many layouts, plus custom sizes too here.
Use these wall plates on vanities, accent walls, foyers, and dining rooms indoors. Shiny surfaces show fingerprints and water spots, so wipe with a soft cloth. Screwgard gaskets keep paint off glass backsides during wall painting jobs at home. For metal plates, furniture polish on a soft cloth works well.
Light Switch Covers for Toggle, Rocker, and Dimmer Styles
Before you order, look at the switch face on your wall. We groups covers into toggle, duplex, and Decora GFI Rocker styles. Each style needs a different opening in the wall plate. Choosing the right opening helps the plate fit and look neat.
Toggle
Most toggle switches move up and down on the wall. Some toggles move left to right instead. For left to right toggles, our site uses a duplex outlet opening for that switch plate cover. Order that opening when your toggle handle runs sideways.
Rocker
Rocker switches use the Decora GFI Rocker style opening on our site. These covers fit a wide rectangular switch or GFCI shape. You will see single through multi-switch options under Decora GFI Rocker light switch covers.
Dimmer Styles
Dimmers show up in our Dimmer Switches and Fan Controls section. Some dimmers use a round knob with a Decora style plate. We sell Decora switch plate inserts for round dimmer knobs in six colors, made for Decora style switch plate covers.
Outlet Covers That Match Your Wall Plates
Outlet covers should look like wall plates in each room. Mismatched covers grab attention near beds, desks, and hallway plugs too. A clean match makes outlets fade into the wall.
Check the outlet face first, since cutouts differ across outlet types here. Duplex outlets take two plugs, top and bottom. GFCI outlets have test and reset buttons on the front panel. USB outlets need a cover opening that fits the ports.
Swap outlet covers after painting, repair, or new receptacles. In kitchens, covers near counters collect grease, so wipe them using warm water. In bathrooms, covers face steam near vanity. Order the same style for switches and outlets on one wall line. When every cover matches, your room stays tidy from door to bed area.
Switch Plate Covers in 53 Standard Configurations
When you order a wall plate, the layout matters first. On our configurations page, you can choose from 53 standard styles in 53 different configurations, shown as labeled images you can click to shop.
One device plates
If your wall box holds one item, start here. Arnev shows SS for a single switch, OC for a single outlet, and GF for a single GFCI layout. When you need to cover an unused opening, try SBLK for a single blank.
Two device plates
Two items in one spot need one plate with two cutouts. We list DS for two switches, DOC for two outlets, and DGF for two GFCI layouts. For mixed needs, we also have combo plates like DSOC for a switch plus an outlet.
Three or more device plates
Long switch rows and outlet rows show up in kitchens, hallways, and work areas. Our switch layouts like TS, QS, 5S, 6S, 7S, 8S, plus outlet layouts like TOC, 4OC, 5OC, 6OC, 7OC, 8OC. GFCI rows also appear, such as TGF through 8GF, along with multi-device combo codes shown on the same page.
Light Switch Plate Sizes Before You Order
Before you order, check how many gangs are on the wall box. We sell mid-sized wall plates that are a bit larger than standard, but not oversized. These sizes help cover drywall cut irregularities around electrical box openings, and they can hide old plate outlines plus paint or wallpaper color differences.

Room-by-Room Ideas for Light Switch Plates and Outlet Covers
Each room puts different wear on switch and outlet areas. Arnev Products offers switch plate covers for every room in the home. Use the room notes below before you order plates.
Kitchen
Kitchen switch areas collect finger marks faster than other walls. A well-fitted plate helps block surface moisture near the device base. Wipe outlet covers near counters after cooking grease lands.
Bathroom
Bathrooms send steam and splashes toward switches and outlets. Open spaces around a device collect dust and marks. Choose a plate that keeps edges secure during wiping. Dry the wall plate after wiping to prevent water spots.
Living room
Living rooms show switch plates in photos and daily sightlines. A mismatched plate draws attention and disrupts the room's look.
Bedroom
Bedrooms see lighter switch use and fewer wall wipes. Soft lighting makes plate color stand out near the bed. Pick light shades, wood, or smooth acrylic for bedrooms. Match plates with furniture shade and lamp bases on nightstands.
Hallway and entryway
Hallways and entryways handle constant movement and quick light use. Finger marks show up near switches along the route. Durable covers help walls resist marks from daily contact.
Several switches placed close together work better with one plate. A shared cover keeps switches lined up and easy to spot. Combo layouts keep fans, lights, and outlets in one frame.

Choose our light switch covers and outlet covers for remodels, repairs, and new installs in kitchens, baths, and halls, for every room.
Materials & Craftsmanship
We make wall plates that hold up to daily touch and cleaning. Our Materials are top notch and 99.8% of products we sell are manufactured in the USA. We use real glass, durable acrylic, baked stone-look resin, and powder-painted steel so plates stay consistent from order to order.
- Painted steel plates: .042 cold roll steel, powder painted in 600-degree ovens.
- Copper on metal: .036 gauge with brushed strokes and protective coating.
- Real glass plates: mirrored, clear, frosted, or gray, about 3/16 thick.
- Acrylic plates: made in the USA, clear or mirrored, 1/8 thick.
- Simulated stone plates: powder resin, then baked for a stone feel.
When you replace switch plates and outlet covers, the surface finish matters. Powder paint helps resist scratches on painted steel plates. Glass and acrylic wipe clean with a soft cloth, and stone-look plates add texture around wall openings.
