After selecting the type of wood for your wood switchplates, you will need to select an edge treatment. We offer rounded, beaded, chamfered, cove and square edges. Next, you will select a screw color from the following offerings: almond, antique brass, black, brass, brown, pewter, shiny steel, terra cotta or white screws. You can choose to have a metal plate added to the back, which we suggest for added durability and protection against warping from heat or humidity. Then, you’ll be asked to select a stain for your switch plate cover from the following available stain selections: natural, red oak, Sedona red, red mahogany, red chestnut, fruitwood, driftwood, Jacobean, golden oak, Puritan pine, colonial maple, early American, English chestnut, golden pecan, dark walnut, provincial, Ipswich pine, special walnut, gunstock, cherry, pickled oak and ebony. You can also choose to stain your wood switchplates
yourself. You may elect to add a polyurethane finish for your wood switchplates
of either high-gloss, semi-gloss or satin.
