All our products are what’s referred to as a mid-sized part. They are a bit larger than the standard size, but not over-sized. Using a mid-sized part usually covers up any irregularities that could have occurred when the dry wall was cut for the electrical box openings, which does occur quite often. Also, this would cover up any outlines, or paint or wallpaper color differences left by the old light switch plates. However, they are not so oversized that they don’t fit into the space usually allotted for the standard size plates.

Telephone, Cable TV, CAT5 and Blank switch plate information
We offer telephone,
cable TV, CAT5 and blank inserts that fit into any of our GFI (decora style)
switch plate cover. They’re available in white, cream, and gray to color
co-ordinate with any of our switchplates. Very easy installation. Simply
remove the old wall plate, attach the telephone wire lines to the new
insert (which are color coded, red, green, black, and yellow), or screw in
the cable TV line to the insert, and screw the insert into existing
electrical box in the wall. For the blanks, also screw it to the existing
electrical box in the wall. Then screw your new GFI (decora type) light
switch cover to the insert. It’s just that simple. Click here to

Finishes,
Colors and Cleaning Instructions
With the exception of our mirrored glass switch plates, all our products
are made of metal. They come with matching screws and may be cleaned with
furniture polish applied to a soft clean cloth. We don’t recommend this
for our Arizona Sand texture finish or our mirrored glass switch plates,
but everything else works just fine. We do recommend using some polish or
WD-40 on the electrical openings and edges of the brass and brushed steel
before mounting them on the wall. We don’t recommend the lacquered
finishes for extreme high humidity areas. All switchplates have
non-tarnishing finishes, under normal circumstances. Polished Brass and
brushed steel light switchplates have a lacquer finish. The brushed steel
wallplate very closely match the color and tone of stainless steel used in
appliances and sinks. Pewter, Sand texture, and Terra-Cotta, have our
exclusive powder paint electro-static custom finish. Matte Black, and High
Gloss White wallplates have an enamel powder paint finish. Our White
porcelain enamel is very similar to a fine porcelain sink in your bathroom
or kitchen. It’s like a white porcelain gas or electric stove top.
Payment
Methods:
Credit Card
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We
process all credit cards through our secured shopping cart by
www.coolcart.com. We have a secured credit card company with CardService
International, and use their secured credit card LinkPoint HTML processing
software. We must get BOTH authorization and address verification in order
to process your order. Please be sure that the Billing Address listed when
paying by credit card is the same one on file with the credit card company
(where your bill is sent). If it is not the same, this will delay your
order, as we cannot process it until the correct information is received.
We will contact you if we have a problem. Your credit card is not charged
until the order is confirmed and shipped. This is our policy!
Mail-in orders
We also accept cashier's checks, money orders, and
personal or company checks. However we will not begin preparing your order
until we have received the payment. In the case of a personal or company
check, your order will not be sent until the check has cleared. This
generally delays the order by about two weeks. We do charge a $25 fee for
bounced or NSF checks.
Phone Orders
If
you prefer to phone in an order, you may call us M-F, 8:30AM – 4:00PM
CST at 800-260-1181. We are generally in the office these hours, but
may not be available to answer the phone if we are taking care of
customers, or involved in manufacturing. You may leave a detailed
message and we will return your call as soon as we are free.
It is preferred that you place your order online, as all your information
will be quickly and correctly entered and you will be able to track your
order progress. If you have a question, please email us. We check our
email throughout the day and can generally get right back to you. If you
have a more complicated question you would prefer discussing on the phone,
you may certainly call us.
International
orders
If your credit card billing
address is in a country other than the U.S., we request customers to
please e-mail us the 3 or 4 digit security code number for the credit card
used. This CCVCID number is a security precaution for your protection to
prevent unauthorized use of your card. It can be found on the signature
strip on the back of your credit card or above the last four digits of
your credit card number on the front of your card.
Order Status

Shipping and Handling Rates
Due to the high cost of the recent fuel surcharges we find it
necessary to raise our standard shipping rates as of 8-7-08. If the fuel
surcharges do come down in the future, we will at that time adjust these
rates. UPS and USPS ground shipping and handling now starts at
$9.75 for your first part and
$0.25
cents for each additional part. If you would like your order to be
shipped via Express Shipping, please contact Customer Service at
800-260-1181 to place your order, and they will let you know if it's
available for your area. Please note that all wood switchplate orders can only ship via the US Mail, no UPS is offered, sorry. We apologize for
this increase but we have no choice in this matter at this time. We
don't make money on our shipping and handling, as we only break even.
Availability
Unfortunately, we sometimes have to backorder our
switchplates, but usually for not more than three weeks. We try our best,
but out of stock situations do occur on very rare occasions. We will
notify you first before shipping your order if one or more items are
permanently unavailable so that you may make changes in your selections as
necessary.
Warranty
If
there is a problem with any of our switch plates which was not caused
by normal wear and tear, or high humidity invoirnments ,or where it
could be affected by salt air, we will gladly fix or replace the
switchplates for a period of one year from the date of
purchase. These are not intended for exterior use.
Returns and
Exchanges
For nineteen years now, Arnev Products, Inc. has been known for high
quality switchplates and excellent customer service. We feel confidant
that you will be pleased with your purchase and the service you receive.
However, if you are not completely satisfied, you may return or exchange
any item within 30 days of receipt.

Short Ship
Claims
Short ship claims must be made within 5 days of
receipt of the package. All items listed on the invoice should be in the
box. Backorders are listed and are noted as backorders. If you believe you
have been short shipped an item, please first double check all packing
