This Custom Copper Patina decorative light switch cover has a custom lacquered finish, and this wall plate cover will maintain the same beautiful finish for years to come. The switchplate has a deep dark Copper Patina finish that will co-ordinate beautifully with many popular aged bronze fixtures, as well as copper finishes. Our decorative switchplates are referred to as a mid-sized part. This
switchplate cover is a bit larger than the standard size switch cover, but not
over-sized. Having the decorative switch plate a bit larger usually covers up
any irregularities that could have occurred when the dry wall was cut for the
electrical box openings, which does occur quite often. Also, this would cover up
any outlines, or paint or wallpaper color differences often left by the old
switch cover. However, the switch plate cover is not so oversized that it won’t
fit into the space usually allotted for a standard size switchplate cover in
most cases.
Our light plate cover can be flipped up-side-down to fit your particular
electrical configuration. Let’s say you have combination style, with the
switches on one side, and the outlets on the other side. You can just flip the
switchplate cover over, and this works great in all cases.
